Lincolnshire Parent Carer Council Lincolnshire Parent Carer Council is a very active local support group, certainly worth keeping an eye on. They are not however, autism specific. Lincolnshire Parent Partnership Lincolnshire Parent Partnership supports parents and carers of children with special educational needs, from pre-school to school leaving age. This is a Local Authority provided service and the advice is both free and impartial. Enjoy. The Thomas Centre The Thomas Centre Describes itself as " The Autism Friendly Holiday Specialist " and is a 25 acre site near Louth, for a safe, non - judgemental environment to relax in. The Thomas Centre is run by a husband-and wife team who have the experience of bringing up their autistic son. His name, you have probably already guessed, is Thomas and (at the time of writing, April 2011) he is now 20. Happy Kids Holidays This website belongs to a lady who used to work as a special needs teacher, in a N.A.S. school in Sheffield. She now lives in France and has established a non profit making association, with the aim of linking families who have children with A.S.D. to property owners in France who will be committed to providing a holiday in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
