Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams, born in 1959, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician.       He is the best-selling Canadian rock artist of all time and is known for his strong husky vocals and energetic live performances.

At the age of 14, Adams worked as a dish washer to save money for a proper guitar.      He rehearsed his band in his mother’s rented basement in Vancouver, deciding to sing until they found a singer – but they never found one.

His foundation The Bryan Adams Foundation aims to advance education and learning opportunities for children and young people worldwide.        His first high profile charity appearance came in 1985 when he opened the US transmission of Live Aid from Philadelphia.
