  • North Hykeham play centre Fun Farm, an indoor Lincoln play park, is to install a £35k ‘underwater’ fun station.         The upgraded centre is due to open 14th June 2016.          See also:  Fun Farm.
  • Jump Inc trampoline park is due to open in the current DPD depot on Dixon Close off Tritton Road, Lincoln in the late summer.

Coffee Mornings across Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum (LPCF) hold coffee mornings around the county.          They used to call themselves Lincolnshire Parent Carer Council (LPCC).           “No need to book.   Meet other parents of children with disabilities and additional needs.”           They hold their coffee mornings in quite a few locations around Lincolnshire, including Grantham:

Digeridoo sound therapy

Australian born, Gregg Chapman – The Didgeridoo Man, uses the sounds, vibrations and spirituality of the ancient Australian didgeridoo to bring deep relaxation and healing to the mind, body and soul.          See home page and up-coming Events in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.           Check details for each event but some are free, some are £10 for adults and £2.50 for children and some need to be booked in advance.

Daytime opportunities

A is a community skills programme for adults with learning disabilities and autism which can be accessed on a full or part time basis.

Therapeutic activity

Hill Holt Health  is a woodland-based project helping people with experience of mental and physical health problems to get involved in local environmental projects that improve their health and wellbeing.          They can be found between Newark and Lincoln.          You might need to contact your GP to access the service.
